Congratulations Seniors on all of your awards, scholarships & accomplishments! It has been a blast working with you the past four years, & thank you for the gifts & cards. We love you.  Mrs. Drake & Ms. Mast

 

Thanks so much to the Seniors for the wonderful plant & gift card you presented to me last night. It was a total surprise, & I was very touched by your thoughtfulness!     Nancy

 

Reminder: We will be having a fire drill this morning at approximately 10:02 a.m. Please remember in a transitional time (i.e. lunch, passing time, before school) you will always report to your next hour class evacuation location.   

 

Would the following students please see Mrs. Bontrager in the attendance office sometime today:  Rhanelle Atkins, Nick Beland, Amara Conklin, Norma Deale, Taylor Grassmick, Toby Koenig, Josh Johnloz, Taylor Medbery, Autumn Odom, Bethany Riess, Ben Roberts, Jacie Soper, Amber Stevens, Jay Sweet, and Tyler Teadt.

Freshmen and sophomores: Be sure to stop by Mrs. Drake's room today during break and lunches to vote for class officers and student council reps!  

 

Boys Varsity Track Team pictures will be taken at 3:30 sharp out at the track. Remember to be in uniform ready to go. Bus will leave for Regionals on Saturday at 7:15 a.m. Congratulations to the girls & boys track team who were both invited to the MITCA Division 4 Team State Meet in Gobles on May 26th!

 

Seniors: sign the list for something to bring to the WFB taco party. So far, you'll be served a crockpot full of meat and napkins. :)

 

All current NHS members:  Don’t forget to be at the elementary gym at 5:00 p.m. on Monday night to set up for, and run through, the induction. Remember to bring your drinks & treats. Dress appropriately.

 

To all new NHS inductees:  Remember to be at the elementary gym on Monday night at 6:15 for the induction. Make sure to dress appropriately & be on time. If you are not at the induction, you will not become an NHS member this year. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Braind ASAP.

Any girls currently in grades 8th thru 11th interested in playing volleyball next year should sign the list in the office.

 

The gym will be closed next week Tuesday through Friday, including lunch hours, so that it can be set up for graduation.

 

We have some new detasseling forms in the office from another company for students who are 13 years old, & older.

 

Scholarships for Seniors:

·                    Esther Avery-Gladys Fair Scholarship: For students in the St. Joseph County schools and also Vicksburg who plan to attend an accredited college or university in the fall and major in Education or a related field.  $500. Apps. must be received by May 25th.

·                    Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship: For males who are planning to attend the University of Michigan who embody leadership and academic achievement.  $1,000, $500 and $250 scholarships available. Apps. must be received by May 31st.
