    Grades:
    Students in this class will earn a grade based on formative and summative assessments.  Each quarter will be based on the following:
    Formative:  Daily Work 15%        Summative:  Primary/Secondary sources 20%
                       Vocabulary    5%                             Quiz                                      30%
                                                                                Test                                       30%
     
    The semester will be based on the average of the two quarters.

    The Learner will describe information presented in text sequentially, comparatively, or causally.
    The learner will explain economic activity in the eastern hemisphere, including systems of international interdependence and the role of government.
    The learner will investigate how geographers think and the processes, tools, and information they use to study and communicate spatial thinking and geographic knowledge.
