Mr. HartongName: Aaron HartongHomeroom:202Email: ahartong@cpschools.orgPhone:269-467-5210 ext.21202I am excited to be returning to teach US and World History as well as Contemporary Global Issues in this my 12th year with Centreville. The Social Studies are full of valuable lessons on cause and effect, helping us understand where we've been and where we are heading. However, they also provide opportunities to build critical literacy skills due to the plethora of texts associated with them. I am excited for another year of inquiry and debate! My education was acquired at Taylor University, where I earned my B.S. in Secondary Education with a Social Studies focus. While I am licensed to teach anything under the Social Studies umbrella, I focused most on U.S. History, Government, Psychology, and Economics. I have since added multiple post-grad literacy courses to my transcript.
