NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, November 18th.

If you missed picture day or want a new photo, make sure you're ready for retakes! Please bring your original photos with you on this day.

Early release on Wednesday, November 19th, we’ll be having our first Class and Staff Theme Day and the theme is Camouflage! That’s right, it's students versus staff in a friendly competition to see who can show the most school spirit. Make sure to wear your best camo clothing to be counted! Just a reminder no hats or face paint are allowed. So get ready to blend in, show your spirit, and let’s see who takes the win, students or staff!

PAST ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Freshmen: It’s pizza time! Our Little Caesars Fundraiser has begun—sell, sell, sell! All order forms and payments are due November 16th.

CTE: Construction-Sturgis Schedule for week of Nov 10 - On site all week.

Student Council - 

Mock Trial -  Meetings this week. Every morning at 7AM. After school Friday.

Chess Club - Every Thursday from 3:15-4:15 in Mr. Hartong's classroom.

HS Robotics - Build for Thursday has been cancelled.

JH Robotics - Build for Thursday and Friday has been cancelled.  Leave for competition on Saturday. 

Jr. High Quiz Bowl - Anyone that wants to join there will be an introductory meeting this Friday during lunch in Ms. Millers Room 312

High School Quiz Bowl - Attention all 9th-12th grade students who are interested in participating in Quiz Bowl this year, there is a signup posted outside of Mr. Olson's classroom. The first practice will be an informational meeting on Monday, November 17th, after school until 4:15pm. Please see Mr. Olson if you have any questions! 

FFA - Centreville FFA will host our Thanksgiving Meal on November 17 at 4:30 p.m. in the Ag Room. Turkey is provided—please bring a dish to pass if you plan to attend, and RSVP to Mrs. Troyer so we know how many to expect.

Drama Club

Fiber Club: - Join Harger, Fryling and Miller in FrylingÅ› room on Wednesdays at lunch and pick up a new cozy skill and make some new friends! You will need to have a lunch pass from either Fryling, Harger, or Miller in order to attend- see them to get your pass. No pass, no club! Open to high school students during all lunches. 

TUTORING:

Tutoring is every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Room 306 from 3:06-4:06. Transportation is not provided.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS:

College Rep Visits for Juniors and Seniors:

Please sign up at the Attendance/Guidance Office. These will be held in the library.

SMC Rep will be here Nov. 17. - Juniors and Seniors are welcome to sign up in the Guidance/Attendance Office to meet with this rep.

It's hard to believe, but winter sports are just around the corner!  As a reminder, if you plan to participate in a sport, you must have a valid athletic physical on file with the office and must be registered in Final Forms.  This information can be picked up in the office.  Check your sports on FinalForms and make sure they are accurate. 

Winter Athletics Important Dates

The athletic department instituted a new award - the Top Dog Award a few years ago. This award is given to any HS student who plays all three seasons of their four-year high school career.  Earning this award also gives you free athletic admission for life after graduation!
