NEWSWORTHY:

NHS acceptance letters and dues for sophomores must be turned in to the main office.

Senior slideshow photos are due today!  If both photos are not turned in by that date, you will not be included in the slideshow. If you have any questions please see Ms. Vazquez.

Hey Seniors- Did you know that about 70% of you would qualify for free money for college or trade schools? Find Ms. Roe and ask for help! Let's get it done!

Seniors- did you know that the Michigan Achievement Scholarship is not based on your academics, but is based on the FAFSA. Another reason to get it done!

One more thing Seniors: Last year, the seniors in Michigan left over $110 million dollars on the table because they did not complete the FAFSA. Stop in and see Ms. Roe to get help completing the FAFSA.

2023 Yearbooks are here! Pick up your copy in the main office. If you didn’t purchase one, we do have extra available.

2024 Yearbooks are on sale for $50 if you purchase by May 15th, the price after that is $60. Order forms are in the main office.

2024 Jr High Yearbooks are on sale. $20 and the order forms are in the main office.

Dress Code: The weather is warmer and our dress code will be enforced. Please be mindful to wear appropriate clothing while in school. Examples of unacceptable clothing would be bare midriff, halter-tops, tank tops, shirts with large hole openings, short shorts, etc. A complete list concerning the dress code is in the student handbook.

Drama Club: Just a reminder that rehearsals are full-act run-throughs and full cast until the show on April 27th.

More Events in April:

April 27th - Drama Club Spring Play, 1:00-3:00 in the HS cafeteria.

April 29 - Western Michigan University Rep will be here at 9:00 am.

April 29 - Ferris State University Rep will be here at 10 am.

Dentists R Us will be here on April 25th. Please pick up a form in the office if you would like an appointment. Please return forms to the office by April 23rd. 

JH Quiz Bowl will meet during lunch in room 301 on Tuesday and Thursday.

After-School Tutoring is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:15 in Ms. Vazquez's room.

V SB at Bailey Park – van 7:45 – game at 9:30

JH SB/BA at Dowagiac – bus 8:15 – game at 10:00

HS Golf at Coldwater – van 10:30 – match at 12:00

RESULTS:

JV baseball won two games at Cassopolis yesterday 16-0 and 8-0. Leading hitters were Parker Creal with 3 (including 2 doubles), Matt Blair had 2 hits, and the following each had one hit: Monroe Christner, Izen Tsitsos, Oliver Mildenberg, Garrett Smith, and Greyson Kohlhoff. Pitching was outstanding.  Parker Creal, Izen Tsitsos, Dawson Webb, Oliver Mildenberg, and Cale Gingerich combined to strike out 19 batters while only allowing 2 hits.  It was a great team effort. Good luck Monday at Schoolcraft.

Check out the Scholarship bulletin board outside Mr. Olson's classroom!  You can now pick up paper copies there or in the attendance office.

Set Seg Skilled Trade Scholarship.  https://setseg.org/tradescholarship Deadline is April 15, 2024.

Three Rivers Rotary Scholarship: Available to students attending a community college in Michigan in the fall.  Pick up an application outside of Mr. Olson's room or pick up a copy in the attendance office.  Deadline is April 15, 2024.

Lions Club Scholarship is available for students. See the bulletin board or pick up a copy in the attendance office.  Deadline is May 1, 2024.
