In December, Centreville Public Schools held its second annual “Stuff the Bus” food and toy drive. This event is organized by members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and National Honor Society (NHS). During the first week of December, students in grades 7-12 brought in food items, while the elementary students brought in toys. On December 7th, FFA and NHS members and advisors brought the loaded bus to Yoder’s parking lot where students, staff, and community members contributed.
For the second straight year, a bus full of food and toys were collected. The food was donated to the food pantry at the Centreville United Methodist Church. The donated toys were used to brighten the Christmas holiday for CPS families in need.
